What’s with the name A Million Percent?

When something resonates with me deeply, I’ll say “YES! 100%!”

But when something resonates on a soul level, I say “YES! A MILLION PERCENT!”

If you like pop culture, travel, understanding and diving deep into social media trends, recommendations for what to watch on Netflix and what podcasts to listen to, and grand millennial lifestyle… this community is for you.

I’ll be calling you my millies.

Maybe this name also stems from my love of the Lil Wayne song “A Milli?”

When I was 16 years old, I would sit at my computer and play A Milli over and over again until I had it memorized.

To this day, being able to rap every word to the first minute and thirty seconds is one of my greatest accomplishments….

Anyway, let’s get into it!

WHY NOW?

Confession: I drafted an entire newsletter back in October and never hit send. Life got busy, and it just didn’t feel like the right time.

But then I discovered the circles.

My friend Brett Dashevsky created this accountability system for his Creator Economy NYC newsletter, and it’s genius. He wrote a newsletter every week for all 52 weeks of 2024 using this simple method.

HOW TO USE IT

1. Download this photo.

2. Fill in a circle every time you complete your creative pursuit, working left to right.

3. Keep the circles somewhere visible to track your progress and stay motivated.

It’s simple, satisfying, and effective. Share it with a friend who might need a little creative accountability too!

SOCIAL TREND SPOTLIGHT

• Ins and Outs for 2025 - This is a fun really simple way to engage with your community. The New Year is a great time to set goals and you can be controversial with this one. Honestly - controversy gets more clicks so have fun with it! (but don't be mean, obvi, that’s not what we’re about). Here’s how to do it:

  • Create a List: Start with a clear “Ins” and “Outs” for 2025.

  • Write in the Notes App: A simple screenshot is all you need!

  • Engage Your Audience: End your post with a question like, "What’s one thing you're bringing into 2025?" or “agree or disagree?”

• Carousel Posts with text on screen are super trendy right now. Here’s how to make yours pop:

  • Use Canva for That “It Factor”: Add text overlays to your carousel for a polished, on-trend look.

  • Tell a Story: Share different thoughts as you swipe through each slide.

  • Get Your Audience Involved: End with a question to spark engagement and keep the conversation going.
